Hello ranchers!

Well after 6 months of "intense" studying finally i took the exam today, i used K&B and Whizlabs for my preparation, it wasn't an easy exam, no sir, this was one tough exam, perhaps even the hardest exam i've ever taken, here are my Results:

Declarations, Initialization and Scoping..................75%
Flow Control.............................................100%
API Contents..............................................90%
Concurrency...............................................50%
OO Concepts...............................................90%
Collections / Generics....................................50%
Fundamentals..............................................90%

K&B will suffice, but if you need more materials or you can't get it, i also recommend Sanghera's book although aimed towards begginners, it's still a very good book for the exam, i also recommend using an IDE to debug code that you write while practicing, it can be quite helpfull specially when practicing threads and GC, my way of studying was 50% mocks, 25% theory and 25% coding.
I wish everyone who plans on taking the exam good luck, the ranch gave me inspiration when i had none left, the ranch gave me the motivation i needed to get out of my ass and start studying so i thank you all ranchers for being my source of inspiration and motivation, i would also like to thank K&B for writing such an excellent study guide!!!

this isn't the end of the road, i am focusing on SCWCD next and maybe some oracle certs, now my drive and motivation are trying to get out of this hell my country has become and i know only knowledge will get me out....thank you all sincerely!

Congratulations Roger! Your experience is valuable for other aspirants!

Rajesh: What do you mean by 'I didn't get Whizlabs simulation'? You can get a FREE demo and licensed version from Whizlabs SCJP 5.0 Preparation Kit

Best wishes,
Pradeep
