Hello,

For those of you who took the exam, did you feel rushed during the exam itself?

Thanks,
Richard

For SCJP5 you wont be rushed , you have almost 3 hours .. Infact I ended the exam with more than 40 mins remaining on the clock.. Not a thing I would advise to do though.

If you go through all question one by one, it shdn't take more than 2 hours. The rest of the time can be utilised in reviewing and stuff.

Personally, I was pressed for time (I hadn't been in the mocks, so I didn't expect it). Half way through the allocated time I'd done half of the questions, and only had enough time to review about 20 questions. It seemed that all the tough questions were in the first half of the exam, which was a bit un-nerving.

I went in thinking time wouldn't be an issue as it really hadn't been in the mocks, so I just did each question as I came to it (rather than picking the easy ones first). I'd recommend using the strategy K&B outline in their book. I panicked a bit and spent far too long on some questions (>10 mins).

Good luck with it.
