Hi all,
I cleared SCBCD for J2EE 1.3 with 95% few hours ago in Italy.
I answered as having an "intermediate knowledge" to the initial survey, fortunately they didn't account those answers in the final score

Recommended study guide: of course, P. Sanghera SCBDC Exam Study Kit
Recommended test simulator: Whizlabs SCBCD (even considering following issues: in a couple of questions, my correct answers was not recognized as such by the simulator; in case of multiple correct answers, the test recognized as correct only one, basing on some unpredictable, non-deterministic criteria)

Next target: one week off, of course

And now, champagne! :-)

BBye,
DM

Hi Aaron,
actually it took me very long time since I bought the guide (end of april), but this is because I'm very busy with both work and family!
So, I had a first reading of the guide in abt one month (1 chapter each 2 days), then in the last month I started a second deeper reading (taking few written notes), used the simulator and, finally, in the last week I did the 3 simulated exams and read my notes and the quick guide.

Let me say that in an optimal case (e.g., no family, no kids, no job!), 3 weeks should suffice to get the required knowledge.

Bye,
Dan
