I am not working but I did SCJP(83%) in 2006.
Now I was planning to to do SCJD to gain the real experience and start to look around for the job later. Do you think I can do it without development experience.
Please guide me which books you have used and how one should go by it.
Highly appreciate your response
Thanks

Hi Uzma
The only book I used was the
Java 5.0 Certification book. I used the SCJD forum multiple times whenever I ran into problems. Before posting questions in the SCJD forum, make sure that similar questions have not already been posted and that the answer to your question could not be found by spending 5 minutes browsing the web.
In my opinion I think you could probably also pass the SCJD exam without having any real work experience, but of course it is going to be hard and time consuming. Experience always helps and could save you from some of the pitfalls in the assignment.
If you do not have any development experience at all, then I would not recommend you to start on the assignment.
