Hi friends.. first post... just failed my exam got 46/69 and the pass mark was 47/69

I studied for two months, but I didint pull it right in the running up to the exam. l am planning to resit again in a 3-4 weeks of course.

But just wondering, does anyone know if the resit exam is the same one?? (or are the 69 questions drawn up from a pool of 100s of questions hence dynamic in each test sitting ??).

thanks,
Abyd

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune and wish you better luck on your next attempt. I believe that it is a pool of questions and you might see some questions again, but you should also see new ones as well.

I have scheduled my exam for 8/13. I have read RMH cover to cover once and I am on chapter 7 of the blueprints book. Was their any particular section that gave you trouble?

thanks... thats what I thought.. I have to work it up to the next exam again I guess.

A lot of questions on Service End points. Some have so many many similar multiple choices that it gets confusing when trying to pick the right ones.

I think there were many questions that I thought I got right that I must have "just got wrong". usually its ones where you are very sure that its not A, B but its either C or D (and C and D ussually sound right... and so leaves you questioning your self even more!)

got 100% on the security questions. They are easy. the schema/xml questions were also okay.

There was a question (without mentioning it fully) but asking what client connection would you use (Stub/Dynamic Proxy or DII). All it mentions is that it is a "portable client". My understanding that it must be some Java Mobile app, which of course can only use a Stub. But then again, maybe portable means something else?? nothing else mentioned in that question.

thanks
Abyd
