Has anyone here failed the SCJP?

I only see people put up passing scores. Just curious how many people actually FAIL this exam? I'm taking SCJP 1.4 tomorrow and I'm scoring in the 60-70 range on the mock exams. I've read the K&B book twice and even made flash cards. The questions are just too "tricky" for me I guess. With all these scores in the 90s I'm wondering if the real exam is WAY easier then the mock exams or something. Or if it is just as hard.

hello,

people often fail, and a few of them report it here. Some people fail even 2 or 3 times in SCJP. We do not know how many there are, though, neither in absolute numbers nor relative to the ones who pass.

It is likely that you will get a better score in the real exam. The questions are easier and less ambiguous than all mock exams I know, and you will focus more and use all your time.

Somehow I don't see many folks wanting to brag about their low passing scores or failures, hence the prevalence of high score posts. I would be interested to see the real passing average scores from Sun.

well they don't have to brag, just report the truth. that way a more realistic view of the test will be recieved by people yet to take it. And I read somewhere that the SCJP was the hardest cert. exam out there. Not sure how credible that is because it was on a SCJP study site, lol
