Hi,

Yesterday when i posted my success, i forgot to thank Mr.Marcus Green, I apologize for forgetting that. Again, thanks alot Mr.Marcus Green for your great mock exams, they really helped.

As a preperation for my exam i used HFSJ as my main source.

And as mock exams, i have solved the mock exams of HFSJ including its final mock exam, JavaBeat mock exams, Marcus Green's mock exams, the mock exam of JavaRanch.

By the way the the 20+ rule of the final mock exam of HFSJ applied to me
i scored 73% in it, and got 91% in the real exam HFSJ is really really great.

Preperation took me 2 months, but i could not go to the exam directly because of some circumstances.

I want to thank everybody again, you guys are great ...

Best of luck to you all ...

can somebody tell me whether it is good to go for java tiger certification or java 1.4 certification... I have heard that the java 1.4 exam has a lot of resources on the net in contrast to java 1.5 exam...
besides that for a beginner how much time it will take to prepare for either of the exams...considering that java 1.5 is a bit tough..
thanks in advance

Dear saurabh baranwal,

If you want to prepare for the tiger exam, then you can buy the K&B book, it is really perfect and great.

There are also alot of mock exams available on the Internet for the tiger exam, so don't worry, there are resources for the tiger exam.

I advice you to go for the tiger exam, as it has new features ...

For more information, see the SCJP FAQ

Best of luck ...
