Hi,

After a few months of procrastination, I finally took the SCJP 5 test on the 14th and passed with a score of 69/72 which translates to 95.83% or as Sun says on my scoresheet, 95%.

I've worked with Java for a few years now. In fact I've conducted several training sessions in Java at my company as well so passing the test was not a problem for me. But studying for the test did make me more confident in working with Java and helped me in conducting the training sessions as well.

Though I scored 100% in Generics, the tougher questions seemed to be from that area, possibly because I haven't used Generics too much in my work so far.

I used the K&B book for my prep, it's great! Also used to do the examulator.com question of the day daily. Didn't take a single complete mock in the course of my prep.

I plan to write more on Java stuff on my blog now. Next, perhaps I'll take the SCWCD.

Thanks to Kathy and Bert, Examulator.com and all Ranchers!
