Here you find a description how I prepared myself for the exam:

- I read http://www.javaranch.com/certification.jsp
- I read the K & B book entirely
- after reading the book, I took all of the book's self-test questions
- I collected the questions where I failed and took them once again one day before the exam
- I took some of the SCJP mock-exams at Java Black Belt (see http://www.javablackbelt.org/QuestDefListing.wwa)
- I bought an ePractice exam for SCJP at SUN (see https://www.suntrainingcatalogue.com) and took all of the questions

I hope this will help you in succeeding the SCJP-exam, too. Best of luck!

Michael
