Finally i gave the exam on a day before my voucher would have expired and cleared it with 90%. Did poorly in OO concepts and funadamentals 80 % each. As usual the site and Bert Bates and Whiz labs test is much more than enough to score 100%.
Will start preparing for SCJP 6.0 and Sun Certified Developer For Java Web Services (SCDJWS). I bought the voucher for Rs 10,000 , 5k each as there was a offer today.
Will share my expirenece later as am going to celebrate New Year
Happy New Year.

Thanks
Deepak

As promised i am back to share my experience after new year celeb
Well as far as preparation is considered , I have been preparing for SCJP for quite sometime now, My preparation had been mainly around Bert Bates book and javaranch forum. I even practiced couple of Whizlabs mock exams. I would suggest couple of readings of SCJP bert bates book and practicing all the mock and exam questions from Whizlabs can easily get you more than 95%.
My exam was suppose to start @ 2:00 pm but i could get a slot only @ 4:00 pm and i finished my exam by 7:30 pm.
The exam duration is 3 1/2 hrs as opposed 2 1/2 and i was surprised with that. Initially there will be a survey from SUN which can be completed quickly and then you can start the all imp experience.

To be honest the exam did not meet my expectations. I thought the exam would be very tough and i might even flunk, but the exam was damn easy. Infact this was the main reason after finishing my exam i thought of taking SCJP 6.0 and i bought the voucher for Rs 5k. I even bought the voucher for Web Services exam.
I will start preparing for SCJP 6.0 and my aim would be to score 100% as usual and i will get back to javaranch forum to answer queries

Suggestions: Eat well and go to exam center, as you might not be sure when your slot would come, I was for more than 8 hrs @ exam center empty stamoch and obiviously study well.

Thanks
Deepak
