Hi
I have assembled a set of exam cram and review notes in my website at
http://www.mydeveloperconnection.com/html/WebServices.htm I have seen several queries in other posts as people want to know chapter wise break down of all the reference material and books. If you are happy with a score of 70-95%, then go through my preparation plan in above link. It has chapter wise matching with exam objectives. It is true that there is lot of material out there and reading all of them will help you expand your knowledge. But all that is not necessary for the purpose of this exam. The ability to figure out the best answer from similarly phrased answers is the greatest challenge. They are made to confuse you with your english reading skill as well
.
You don't need 6 months preparation unless you don't have a regular job
The success lies in your ability to remember what you learned..it is a memory game and not much logic involved like other certification exams.
I got 100% in Web services standards, WSDL/UDDI and JAXR. These concept matter most to me as like most of you, we use Apache Axis not J2ee1.4.
I hope my notes and reference material will be useful for anyone planning to take this
test. I have completed
SCJP, SCWCD,
SCEA and now SCDJWS.
I prepared for about 40 days, 1-2 hours each day.
If you follow my preparation plan and review with my notes, you stand a good chances to clear this exam on first attempt. The review notes are also useful for webservices interviews.
Good luck.

Note: Be careful and never buy anything from eplanetlabs as they simply steal materials from MZ's site. Even whizlab is not good for this exam as they have several wrong answers and question formats are not good. But it helped me to prepare for drag and drop questions.
