This is the first mention I've heard for JMX in a very long time.
Do you feel that JMX is going to make a comeback? Or that it is going to gain enough popularity to warrant a forum of its own? I hate to create a forum only to have it get a dozen messages a year.

I think the last person to request this was me, at least 6 months ago. Personally, I firmly believe JMX is at least a big as JINI. I also believe that it's not as widely adpoted as JINI yet, and still needs more time to ripen! Hence, I'll repeat what I was told 6 months ago. Post in Other Java APIs and when we see a lot of postings, we'll create a new forum.
