hi all,
I have failed 2 times in the exam version 5.0. But I want to complete my certification with a good score. Can anybody suggest me how to prepare for the exams. I have HeadFirst and SCJP 5.0 by Sierra and Bates.

Hi Sandeep,
Don't lose heart. You have to just concentrate on your weak areas. Analyze the scores that you have got and find out in which area you have scored the least. Put extra effort in those areas. Kathy Siera's SCJP1.5 study guide is a good book to study. I have no idea on the head first book. I suggest you also take few practise tests before you take the actual test. And finally, forget the past failures while taking your exam. Be cool while you are in the exam hall. All the very best!

Cheers
Sukirtha

I recently failed my first attempt, scoring 52%.

I've now ordered Preparing for SCJP 5 by Sierra and bates. I'm hoping that makes the difference for next time!
