Hi All,
I have recently cleared SCJp 1.5 with 70% marks.
I was expecting them to be atleast 80% .I still think i can do much better than this.
PLease suggest me whether I should go for it again to achieve good score or I should go for SCWCD now.

Hey Rahul.

I think it's kinda self-defeating to hear that you got certified, but aren't pleased with your score. Sun Microsystems, the makers of Java believe you've proven that you're more than competent enough to but the SCJP banner on your resume. That's a pretty darn impressive accolade!

Being in these forums, you hear all sorts of reports of people getting 80% or 90%. What you don't typically hear is all the people that don't pass, or people talking about how many times they had to take the exam. I assure you, there are literally thousands of people out there who would just kill for your score!

Go for SCWCD next. One thing you'll find is that test-taking itself is a skill. The more cert exams you take, the better you know the way it works, and the better you'll be at those 'marginal' questions. Not only will you get better Java skills, but your scores will improve just on your ability to 'work the system.'

Congratulations! I'm proud of you!
