I just passed SCWCD exam this morning. I've got lots of good guides here and thanks to all ranchers.

I feel the difficulty is that I have to remember all the details not just understand. Some questions look long, but are actually easy to answer. I use Head First and Manning as my main reading to understand the concepts, and also spent some time on remembering DD and API. My lowest mark is on Custom Tag Library part, so should pay more attention.

Thanks again!

Hello Gary,

Congrats. Please share something with us. How long had you been preparing for this scwcd exam? What is the average time needed per your experience for a mid-level developer? How much serious input is needed?

Thanks for your time,

Which book do you prefer to start with?
The one from Manning of the one from Head First?
