Some notes:
  • I felt the exam was easy because I left with almost 45 minutes left on the clock. The self-tests on KB were miles harder.
  • I used KB, which I've discovered to be the best book on the topic. Don't waste your time on anything else.
  • I felt that there were 3 questions on the exams which were ambiguous because they didn't give enough information for me to ascertain how to answer them. Send me a private message and I'll describe why they are ambiguous (I will not tell you the actual question of course since I signed the TAC).
  • Bring a pair of earplugs. I anticipated that it might be noisy. I was right. My exam room was adjacent to a classroom. And a class was in session during my exam. I was saved.

    Pho

    @Prav,

    If you can score well on KB; then I think you are ready.
    But I'd suggest that you first do some trial tests which are freely available on the internet.

    Some of the questions can be very long and wordy. And I tend to glaze over them in my haste and get tricked. Use the process of elimination to filter out erroneous solutions. And be patient.

    @akhi,

    KB refers to the study guide written by Kathy sierra and Bert Bates.

    Regards,

    Pho

    Space seems cool in the movies, but once you get out there, it is super boring. Now for a fascinating tiny ad:
