I am a regular follower of this board though I don't post much. Cleared the SCDJWS with 71% . Compared to other certs from Sun this exam covers a lot more stuff in various different areas and lack of Head first book makes this kind of tough.

For the exam preparation followed the usual: RMH, Mikalai Zaikin Guide and the quiz, Whizlabs ,Blueprints . Out of these from the exam point of view MZ's guide is the best. Without it, it's difficult to pass. RMH is too much theory (and JAXR is covered way too much in detail which I don't think is needed for the exam) but what I did was to go through it once and then understand each and every word from MZ's guide and his quiz.

Usually Whizlabs exams are good and I used it for various other certs but for SCDJWS I found the questions very convoluted and the hefty price tag really is not justified.

All the best for the future SCDJWS aspirants.
