Congrats.

Re-writing for a better score is stupidness as scores doesnt have any importance or it wont display in certificate. You must have look onto other certifications like SCWCD,SCBCD,SCDJWS,SCMAD....etc or other IBM/Oracle certificates as you are in java.

Its my personal suggestion

Just concentrate on where you went wrong and don't bother on the score as anyways they do not show up in your certificate.

Congratulations on your SCJP!

Well, Sun doesn't think the score is low, and who knows better than them? They've deemed your score high enough to meet their strict standards. Why second guess them.

It's a big exam pool. Some people get tougher questions than others. Maybe with a different pool you'd have scored 100%? Maybe you would have scored 68%? The point is, you passed, and you met Suns strict standards. That's an amazing accomplishment, one that all of the thousands of people who fail the exam every day would be very, very grateful to have.

Be proud of yourself!
