hi all,

Today i had the exam and get 100%, and my preparation was as follow:

  • I read HFSJ 2 three time, but watch out, there are many errata in this book, but in general, its realy good.
  • Im already a Java Developer (Web and stand-alone), Working in a big company , so the experience helped me so much (the point here is that you should write codes as much as you can).
  • I read Peabody Notes (which are realy realy good).
  • And ofcourse, Javaranch is my first reference for any Java topic .

  • And finally, my advice to all who want to take this exam is before you start to think on a big fat question , read the choices first, you may find some choices that are already wrong and impossible to execute, which gives you less choices to think about.

    hi sudheer,

i dont think there is a certificate yet for the J2EE 1.5 (unless you mean the version of the exam, not the J2EE itself), both SCWCD 1.4 and 5.0 are for J2EE 1.4, and both of them have the same objectives, the difference is that SCWCD 5.0 is more performance based than the previous one and its new, so i suggest you to prepare for the new one (SCWCD 5.0).
