Hi All,

I cleared SCWCD 5 with a score of 91% (63/69) today. Here is my success story:

Preparation Time: 2 months
Time Duration: 2 hrs daily in 1st month/4 hrs daily in 2nd month

Read HFSJ 1st Edition once
Read HFSJ 2nd Edition once (EL, JSTL thrice)
Peabody Notes on Design Patterns
Mikalai Zaikin Notes
(Would have got at least 5-10% less if I had chosen to ignore last 2)

Mocks:
HFSJ 1st Edition: 60%
HFSJ 2nd Edition: 50%
JDiscuss Free Mocks: Average of 83.33% (Did all 4 with 30 questions each)
Examulator Free Mocks: Average of 90.5% (Did 2 out of 3, 69 questions each)
JavaRanch Free Mock: 96% (1 mock with 25 questions)

Actively checked questions posted by other people preparing for this test and tried to answer the queries as well. Posted 1-2 questions myself but didn't get any response

This would be enough for the preparation as the actual questions aren't really tough.

There were 69 questions with a time limit of 180 minutes. Trust me, all other information (like 11 unmarked questions have been added/Time limit is 2 hrs and 15 min etc.) is not real.

I would like to thank all of you who have been directly or indirectly involved in helping me clear this certification.

A special thanks to all the authors - Kathy/Bert/Bryan, Peabody and Mikalai Zaikin

Feel free to write in case of any queries.

Thanks Manoj and Ankit. Yeah, I scored 91% in both SCJP and SCWCD. Hope I can continue the trend in other certifications as well
