I would be greatfull if somebody gave any info on how to start for the test 488 preparation...having a little prior knowledge on EJB/JSP/Servlets and what resources or books to follow....
I have recently given my SCJP2 a week ago and I want to be certified in 488 in 2 months....
so any info would be great...

I wonder for someone relatively new to java (me, that is) if 2 months is a reasonable time frame to project 488 certification.

hi Nosa,
u're thought is reasonable and surely no one can master the objectives for 488 in 2 months....I know that especially preparing 4 months for SCJP2....but sometimes u can even do that in 2 months if u have the right will even if u're new to java and there is never harm in trying

Hello Mounika !
If you buy the Enterprise JavaBeans written
by R.M Haefel you would definitely not be
dissappointed
Take a good look at the foolwing page:
http://www-1.ibm.com/certify/tests/edu488.shtml
How is it going anyway with your 488 preparation

I think before attempting 488 some ground work is required in some areas of java like jdbc, distributed computing and XML.
I am not sure about your background but if you feel comfortable with these then 2 months is reason timeframe.
