Hi All.
I see that there are 2 (488 and 158) exams for J2EE/WAS developers like me. I understand that 488 will be cancelled by the end of June.
I went through the objectives of both the tests and found that the only difference being the 6th section - 488 needs VAJ4.0 and 158 needs WSAD4.0.3
I am confused ( ) as to which certification I must take at this point of time. Will I have problems in future if I take 488 as its going to be cancelled? I personally feel I can go for 488 as I am better off with VAJ when compared to WSAD.
Please suggest on this.
Thanks very much.
Regards,
S e r a t.

Hello Serat !
I have decided to go for 158 instead of 488.
The differences are relatively small - but
you will definetely be more competitive.

I'd love to second Tom.
Yes, the differences are relatively small. I dont think they would test much of your direct experience on specific development tool (just judge from the objectives). Definitely WSAD is more promising.
