You might also try the book, "Open Tools for Extreme Programming". It covers ant and other open-source tools like junit. Don't let the title mislead you. You don't have to be using XP to get a lot out of the book. Amazon link
You can also try IBM Websphere 4 Application Development Handbook which is available for free. (This is about 600 pages). It's primarily about WebSphere, but contains examples throughout which show you how to set up a web application using ANT.
