Hello hi,
Friends By the Grace Allah I hve passed the IBM-486 exam "Object oriented analysis and design bu UML" with 72%. i get 100% in Architcture and 91 % in static modling.Exam is realy tough and tricky and also required good vocabulary of english.
i studide from Martin fowler's book "Distilled UML" and Graig Larmen's "Aplying design pattren". Each line of fowler is very healthy and provided good food regarding the design , implementation prespective.
Any one who wants to any help please contect me .

Do you have any words people that plan to take the exam?
How does it compare with the ICE practice exam?
Are there any areas that would be good to focus on?

First of all u thin that u are free mentaly and has a core thinking . u read the books as i mentioed in my message continues specialy Fowler's book very rich, 2,4 times .
and the ICE paper is very helpfull regading the papare . u can asses and a little bit idea about the real exam . for further detail for a particuler issu and topic please contect me

Follow the links to forum and then UML Certification. It is the best forum I have ever seen for IBM 486 Certification. I passed the exam last week. Good luck
