Hi everybody,
I passed this test and got 71%.
Big big thanks to all.
Thanks to Hemanth Doma and bonson for their support.
Axel and Bruce Thanks for your links for the preparation of the exam. Long post by you was really helpful.
For me it was tough to clear this exam as I don't have experience working in Websphere 4.0.
Folks, The EJB Book "Enterprise JavaBeans" by Richard Monson-Haefel is Indispensable.
Also try to get some working experience on
WSAD.
Again thanks to all .
Regards,
Mohit

I found question related to Transations confusingand difficult.
I used following resources for studying.
used EJB book Recommeded on site for ejb 1.1.
I used help from WSAD. Concepts section
Servlet Specifications , JSP Sepcifications
ejb1.1 specification.
and gained some experience on APP server and AAT.

FOr SOAP there was only one simple question.
I used apache soap documentation for reading about clients to soap services.
Please let me know if I can help you some way.
Cheers,
Mohit

Hi Mohit,
Thanx for all the Info..
Some more queries related to exam 158
1. What are the passing marks in the exam?
2. Are there any questions specific to EJB 1.0.. or can I leave EJB 1.0 completely??

Bonson

Hi suria ,
You are right. Exactly same used to happen with me in case of Best Practices. But then I found
a filter at the top of the Screen using which you can find best practices of your interest.
e.g on Performance,Desgin etc.
Cheers!!!

Hi Bonson
The pass marks for the exam doesn't seem to change. It is specified in one of the arbit page in the IBM site. Check it out from the following URL

Approximate # of questions: 53
Duration in minutes: 90
Format: multiple-choice
Required Passing Score: 57% for the actual test;
62% for the pre-assessment/sample test

hi mohit,
is there any hard split up regarding the question that can probably come from each section? or is it divided equally? or depends on the lot? help us sort it.
