Hi all,
Till now i was assuming that weblogic is teh best available app servers in the market and is the indemand server but when i looked in to teh previous post i was forced to change my opinion that websphere is teh key .
Now looking into the market conditions , i wanted to take a certification to improve my standard since i already have a weblogic experienece with over an year and 2+ years of java experiecne i thought of taking weblogic certification.
Now all you guys let me know which certification is teh better one(weblogic or websphere). and let me know teh reasons for teh same. I am from india.
Your inputs are very much appreciated
thanks in advance

In my opinion, WebLogic App. Server is much better than WebSphere.
I think a WebLogic certification will be more appreciated than WebSphere.
My advice: concentrate your efforts in WebLogic!

Hello!
I think there are more experts out there with Weblogic experience than with (solid!) WebSphere experience.
It is no bad idea to have knowledge in both important AppServers. But from the certification side, I would concentrate on vendor independent offers. E.g. SCA, SCWCD.
Greetings from Germany,
Stefan

I noticed that there are more jobs associated with WebSphere than WebLogic in US. But since you have WebLogic experience, I think you should do WebLogic first, and I did that.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
