Well, but SCJP is a bad example there - it's a certification on its own. (Think of SCJP more like IBM exam 158/488, which is a 'specialist' certification, and is the first step to a more advanced certification.)
The one that comes to mind is IBM's Enterprise Developer certification, which requires you to have SCJP, UML (exam 486),
J2EE (exam 483) and the WebSphere AS certification (exam 158 - I don't think 488, which I have, still counts here). 483, 486 and SCJP are also prerequisites for the Enterprise Developer certifications from jCert (
http://www.jcert.org) for Sun's iPlanet 6.0 and BEA's WebLogic 7.0.
