Hello, I was wondering if you wanted to get involved in the field of security what is the best path and/or certifications to get? I thought about the CISSP but my cram book said I need 3-5 years professional experience in security before I can take the test! That stinks. Should I consider Security+ or is it a waste of time? Thanks, Prem.

Hi there,
I work with one security expert who has his GIAC Certified Intrusion Analysts (GCIA) certification. He knows his stuff and holds the GCIA in high esteem. The homepage for this certification is http://www.giac.org/GCIA.php
Cheers,
Darryl

He's dead Jim. Grab his tricorder. I'll get his wallet and this tiny ad:
