Hi folks !
Thanks to all hier and at http://www.objectsbydesign.com/ !
It wasn't so difficult as IBM XML, but it was harder as SCWCD and SCJP. Perhabs the same as Oracle DBA 8i Backup and Recovery exam.
I've read only Larman (2 edition) thrice (exellent) and notes and tests on objectsbydesign.com, IBM online test thrice.I've got experience with patterns, a little bit of UP (UP is main part in this exam), but I made almost nothing with UML. It took me all 135 min. to answer all questions.
My tipps :
1. First of all make all questions without graphics over student reservation system. It took me 90 min.
2. Make the rest(App. 15 questions). I was astonished : you are not to see this graphics at all ! ONES MORE AGAIN : YOU ARE NOT TO SEE THIS GRAPHICS AT ALL, IN 95% THE ANSWERS ARE IN QUESTIONS !!!
My best wishes !
Pawel

Hi Prabu,
I mean : these UML pictures give you no information to select a right answer. It's trash.
All you nead is to read the questions !

Agree with you that those pop-up windows sometimes doesn't provide any useful information.

By graphics, did u mean exhibits? It seems that ur major domain was Student Reservation System(SRS). Does the diagrams are only given for SRS, or also for non-SRS qyestions?
Bye,
Viki.

Hi Viki,
only 70 - 80% Graphics are for St.Reserv.Syst.
In all another questions with Graphics (not SRS)it's better to look at these Graphics to make a right answer
bye

Congrats! May you tell me about the time pressure? Like in IBM XML I had to appear 55 questions in 90 minutes and just only could manage it! What's the scenario here?

I just took this exam today and I had no problem with time. I finished in 70 minutes and only marked 4 questions for review. I found many of the questions quite easy and simplistic. However, a few questions seemed a bit subjective to me and open to debate.
I am happy IBM stuck with only a couple problem domains for the entire exam, I was getting tired of reading near the end.
Overall, if you have experience in OOA&D then this exam should be pretty straight-forward and time should not be a factor. However, if english is not your native language then I could see how time could be an issue due to the wordiness of some of the questions.
BTW, I did not study for this exam. However, I did read Applying UML and Patterns(excellent!) a couple years ago and have read UML Distilled(wonderful!) numerous times. I also feel that Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture(indispensible!) provides quite a bit of benefit to those taking this exam, even if it is not directly relevant. Besides, PEAA should be required reading for any Software Developer.
