Hi. Can anyone recommend a single text to use to pass the IBM 483 J2EE exam? IBM recommend several on their website but I am on a budget and can't afford them all. I already have Mastering EJBs by Ed Roman.
Many thanks
Ben

Did you notice that many of the books on that list can be downloaded free?
The Roman book is an excellent replacement for the Monson-Haefel EJB book and it looks like you can download the patterns catalogue free, so I might go with the Core JSP Servlets and JSP book, assuming that you don't have one. Or go with a good JMS book.
What I'd do is to browse ebay and Amazon.com and see whether I could find used copies of both the Core Servlets and the JMS book that were listed. Both books are fairly old so you should have a decent chance of saving some money in the used market, perhaps enough so you can afford both...
