Please help...Bea is not willing to issue me the jCert certification, even though I passed the following exams: Java Programmer, 310-025 IBM OOAD-UML, 000-486 IBM J2EE Connetivity, 000-484 WebLogic Server 7 certification exam I sent the above list to Bea at email@example.com(I believed) and asked how to get the jcert certification. They replied and said unabling to issue the certfication without detailed explanation. Are there anyone out there getting the certification from the Bea recently? Is jCert dead, at least from the standpoint of getting Bea to issue the certification? Paul
I trust the issue is with exam 484. Though IBM site clearly states 484 exam with jcert logo www.jcert.org does not have any reference to 484. I get a feeling that it is taking a while to ** officially ** get 484 to jcert umbrella but that should be just a matter of time. I can understand your frustrations after putting huge efforts and then get into this uncertainty. Good Luck..
Yes. BEA had pulled out of jCert. That is what the message I got from BEA when i send them my certs along with BEA WLS 6.0 cert. But jCert site is not updated with that info. So, I really did not going on with BEA. Look like they don't want to recognoze IBM certs(483 and 486, jealous). Anyway, now i have some experience in WebSphere and took the ibm jcert enterprise developer after taking 158 recently. All the best. -Ashok
