I am looking at taking up websphere certification but IBM has only Ver 4 certification for single servers. Is the ver 5 certification expected and if so when ? Thanks

Check out these links:

  • IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server V5.0
  • http://www-1.ibm.com/certify/certs/adaswmav5.shtml IBM Certified Advanced System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server V5.0
  • Let me know if that answers your question.

Thanks for the response. But is there no Ver5 exam corresponding to
IBM Certified Enterprise Developer - IBM WebSphere Application Server, Advanced Single Server Edition for Multiplatforms, V4.0
    the 158 test ?

Ah, but there is. The 158 test was replaced by the 287 test, which just so happens to be the test for which my book was written (see my signature block below). I happen to be CED myself. I passed the 287 test back in April, and the 484 in August.
