HiAll I have been working on J2ee (ejb) for the last 1.5 year. My experience is mostly on Weblogic. I plan to pursue certification in weblogic7.0. But i find very few posts on Weblogic cerification as compared to Websphere certs. Why is Weblogic cert posts losing popularity. There is hardly any info on the same here. Kindly do provide pointers to some weblogic certification docs
Hi Manish I too have been checking the various threads on weblogic certification but there seemed to be few, most of which talk about preparation from weblogic docs and some of the popular books in the market. Please let me know if you have created a study plan. Let us ask the moderator to create a seperate thread for weblogic and ask the members preparing for weblogic to submit their suggestions as regard the study plan for weblogic. This should be helpful for all who are aspiring for weblogic certification. Thanks Ravi
Well, you just created a thread about certification on Weblogic, so there's no need for me to do the same. Now if you mean a completely different forum for Weblogic certs, well that probably won't happen. It just happens that more people are seeking Websphere certification, at least when it comes to people visiting this forum. But if there are people lurking that have gone through the Weblogic certs, and they see this thread, hopefully they'll speak up. Though I must agree I can't really recal very many, if any, posts regarding Weblogic.
WL 6 or 7 certs didn't offer much variety and hence may not have gained the popularity. But with the WL 8.1,there are lots of flavours(Developer,Administrator,Architect) of certifications and it seems quite interesting.
Hi All Currently Weblogic 8.1 certification is split into three Developer , Administrator & Architect I dont have experience on 8.1 though i reckon my exposure to weblogic 7 would help me to grasp 8.1 faster. As per BEA site weblogic 7.0 cert is available only till Jan2005. So what would be your advice to go for 8.1 cert or 7.0. I dont think weblogic has any separate upgrade cert tests Rgrds
