I do believe many peoples had taken the beta-exam(s).
Does any people take and pass the real exam?

Hello Guys, am also looking forward to take the exam. Actually prepared for the exam sometime back but backed off because of very less information available. Any input will be appreciated as how to prepare for the exam, books to follow, timeline for the exam. Moreover to attempt the exam is also not easy, its like $200 which is a bit on the high side.
FYI: I tried to prepare using the OMG specs last time.
Thanks for the input.

I feel that OMG-UML certs are something: I even can not find contact email for more information. Not mock exams only the Spec.---$200 for what?
more news:
I just check the OMG website, they say they are going to have some exams at St. Louis in April 26-28 at 2004, but it is not free.

$200 for each level of exam. I think you are already aware that there are three levels of the exam
OMG-Certified UML Professional Fundamental OM0-100
OMG-Certified UML Professional Intermediate OM0-200
OMG-Certified UML Professional Advanced OM0-300

Here are a couple of links for exam syllabus, covergae map and UML 2.0 specs.
The UML Certification Program
UML 2.0 Superstructure Specification
Coverage Map for the three levels of exam
Guys, any input regarding the exam and how to approach will be appreciated.
Thanks.
