Hi all,
Done with 86%.
Preparation:
about 2 weeks
Used:
Fowler & Larman books, notes and mock tests from objectsbydesign.
It is really enough to pass.
Exam:
A lot of scenario-based questions.
Thank You all for sharing Your knowledge, expirience and resources.

Thanx.
It is good to see that I am not the only one who collects these papers:-)
It is like a hobby (like collecting stamps or postcards):-)

At the moment I have no plans to get ICED.
I passed IBM 141 and 486 and that's enough. I need a little break. Then probably SCWCD.
Unfortunatly my current project has nothing to do with Java (some C++ Linux programming) btw - does anybody know ANSI-C++ related certs (outside Microsoft world:-)))?

Hi Andriy,
I am sure that I wont collect the ICED cert if it is not free of charge. If IBM does not offer this promotion, the original cost for this cert is US 175 * 2 + US 150 = US 400, which is too expensive for me.
Lucky that I saw the post here, and saw the IBM promotion. I think most of us here with the ICED path only need to pay US 30 to get this US 400 certificates.
Anyway, best luck for your future exams.
Nick

Congratulations - this exam is very useful to get, there is really no equivalent around, and is really to a lot of real world projects too.

Congratulations Andriy!
Can you provide me some links to the mock tests and notes, or is it all available in ObjectsByDesign site? I spent on the mock tests for other exams, so would like to avoid some expense on the mock for this. Can you suggest the right free mock exam(s) for this?
Thanks.
