Hi,
Although your softwares are really good but I am not so sure about the prices (specially for 168 questions only).Given the current circumstances of our industry IMHO the price should be around $25. This would increase the affordability and accessibility of your products.
Cheers,
Anushe

The price is $79.99 . Most of the books cost between 50 to 80. So I dont think price is high. But my que is this material is enough for me to pass that exam?. Do i need to refer anything extra?

I didnt understand one thing : What is the need of publishing a book with only 168 questions? Who will buy this? when there are other books in market which provide the whole course in detail as well as mock questions, How this one is different?

This is very objective, I think. You may find it expensive, if you already got SCBCD, and you just want some practices on *nearly-real* questions. You may find it cheap when you cannot find a single book on this exam.
For me, I used 2 books: SCWCD Exam Study Kit and HF EJB, together with SUN's tutorials on JDBC, JMS, JAAS, etc, stuffs to prepare for the exam, and thus, you may need more than 1 book.

But my que is this material is enough for me to pass that exam?. Do i need to refer anything extra?

I guess it should be enough, however, if you, say, dont know JAAS before, you may not easy to understand the concepts, by only 10-20 lines explanations. In such case, you may always need to refer to other references.

It is NOT a book, it is an exam simulator, the questions are very very similar to real questions (of course, they wont exactly the same, otherwise, this will decrease the value of being certified, and everybody will buy it for sure )

Who will buy this?

For those who wants to have practices on questions that are similar to the exam.

I dont think anyone will write a book on this exam. So far, I can only find 2 books that are specifically for IBM exams (285 and 287).
Since IBM 484 covers lots of topics, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JDBC, JAAS, JAXP, JCA, etc, as well as design issues, it is really difficult to have 1 single book that covers all objectives.
I think it is a good software that helps you to prepare for the exam, and based on other's comments (you can search through this forum), most of them give positive comments on the content.

if it contains only 168 questions then $79.99 is tooo much. But if the authors are claiming that it contains all materials necessary for the exam then its okay. So let the authors answer this.

But they do provide "pass guarantee" or "money back".
That means they know what they are doing.
If you are using J2EE on a day-to-day basis, You sure need practise to get it done & this test provides that.

All exam simulators (mock questions with short answers) are very good for practicing. They are replacement for books or other referance materials necessary for the exam.

It is true that exam simulators cannot replace other reference materials. They are tools which assist you in your exam preparation in many ways.
1. They show you the kind of questions asked in the actual exam
2. They help you practice in the actual test environment
3. The answer explanations help reinforce the concepts
4. The revision notes help brush up the important points
5. They help you analyze your weak areas and work on them
As you know, there are very few sample questions available for this exam. So a lot of research and hard work has been put into this product.
You can download and explore our trial version to get a feel of the product.

How is this tested ? Is someone monitoring the changes in the questions ?

um..it is difficult to say, I dont think that it is possible for a company to always monitor whether their products are always similar to the *life* exams.
Instead, the tests are written by people who had took and pass the exam, so, if you took the exam before, you know what kind of format, and questions that IBM loves, and thus, you can write similar questions.
If you can always monitor to the real exams, then why not create a product that contains the *real* questions? I am sure this can make a lot of profit, as this is a *real* pass assurance, however, I think it is better to have *practices* instead of braindumping, as you will learn nothing from the latter one, since you can get 100% even you dont know what is J2EE.
