This week's book giveaway is in the Agile and Other Processes forum. We're giving away four copies of Real-World Software Development: A Project-Driven Guide to Fundamentals in Java and have Dr. Raoul-Gabriel Urma & Richard Warburton on-line! See this thread for details.
Hi all, finally passed 486 at the 2nd attempt. This time I had a bigger screen which helped a bit with the diagrams. I used the Fowler & Larman books extensively. Fowler is good for people who need to learn UML quickly and contains good examples of all the UML diagrams you need. Larman is a tremendous book which covers everything for OO. If you are knew to OO it may take a few reads to get familiar, but stick with it. It really is a great book. I also used Whizlabs. This helped me to pick up speed. My main problem when taking the first exam was that I was too slow.
I've now started on 287, as I want to get ICED.
