I don't think so. I guess only the administrators can turn off the signature option. We will have to remove the check from the "Show Signature option" for not posting the signature with each posts.

I'm going to continue to howl about this.
Sig's are personal info. Some people want to show them all the time, some (me!) don't. I know I can blank it out, but that's not really convenient either.
For the bosses: Please take a look at making this an option.

I totally agree with Guy. It's annoying to have to uncheck the "Show Signature" everytime. Can't someone just modify the HTML template for the page.

Ditto, ditto. I think, the signature should be either turned off by default for everybody (as it was before) or to be configurable.

This is something you need to take up with the makers of UBB. I don't think it is something we have control over.

I'm sure the makers of UBB don't want to be hearing from a bunch of PO'd javaranch users.
They do need to hear a logical argument from local 'management' if there is user community support for a feature.
The method of handling sig's is exactly opposite of the previous version. They will be willing to listen to bitches about it.
If they are not, please pass along their URL. I'll surely give them hell about it (and everyone else should too).
