Hi -

I am interested in pursuing the OCP credential in the Application Developer track (NOT DBA path) for Oracle 9i.

Do I still have take the courses offered by Oracle?

In the Oracle web-site it clearly says

"Candidates who wish to obtain the Oracle9i DBA OCP credential must attend one instructor-led inClass or instructor-led online course from the list below in order to become certified (in addition to the exam requirements)

which means the course requirement is compulsory only for the DBA path. I have heard varying versions for this.

Can some one plz clarify me?

Thanks in advance.
Hari

You do not need to take a course if you are not in OCP 9i DBA path.
