I became ICED some time ago. Apart from some emails telling me where I can print my certificate from, I've had no correspondence from IBM. I thought it would be similar to Sun, where you get a badge and information about logos.
That's a bit of a surprise. I got a laminated card and a hard copy certificate for ICED. I sent IBM a fax about my Java 2 score to confirm that I was eligible for ICED. For XML (IBM 141) I got PDF without asking for it and for ICED, I got hard copy without asking. I was getting a little restless for ICED as I expected PDF to come in a couple of days. I waited for about 2 weeks and the hard copy came in just when I sent in a reminder to IBM. I passed my last exam around end of June.
