I am planning to take IBM test 486,
It will be very helpful if u share ur ideas how to proceed for it

Actually i went through the REcommended Books for This Test

1)UML Distilled By Martin Fowler

2)Applying UML and Patterns: An Introduction to Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and the Unified Process, 2nd Edition
By Craig Larman

So anyone book is ok r i have to go through Both Books and any Free Mock Tests available???

Also plz tell me how much time(days) it may require for me to prepare for this exam assuming i have basic Knoeledge of OOAD and UML.

Both books are important, and you should read both.

Fowler's book focus on how to use UML, while Larman's book focus on OOAD.

It depends, I used 1 week to study this exam due to the time limit of the promotion offer.
