Hi,

Passed IBM 287 yesterday with 73%.
This exam is more difficult than Sun one's (SCWCD + SCBCD).
You have to know things specific to IBM Websphere, like EJB inheritance, etc.

Regards,
Cyril.

cyril,
Congratulations !!!. I would appreciate if you could tell how far it is close to the IBM Pre-assessment Practice test? I am preparing and I have only Pre-assessment questions based on this I am guessing the Exam Pattern. Would appreciate your reply.

Thanks

Congratulations Cyril.

I am preparing for IBM 287 and planning to take test tomorrow. Any last minute suggestions or tips for me? I don't have any practical experience in J2EE or websphere. But I have completed SCBCD and SCWCD exams. I have pre- assessment questions with me. And I read from previous posts that Questions from pre-assessment questions do repeat. Did you feel the same way???

Thanks

i didn't find questions explicitly asked in pre-assment test.
However, questions are quite closed.
About 6 or 7 questions specific to IBM configuration, wizzard, web.xml, datasource in distributed environment with XA, etc. These are quite tricky...
Some other questions about real scenarios with transactions, EJB,
Other questions are not difficult if you have passed Sun exams on EJB and JSP/servlets.

Good luck,
Regards,
Cyril.
