OI have been seeing some postings on ICED. What is this certification ?
ICED = IBM Certified Enterprise Developer. You need to pass 4 exams in order to get this cert:
SCJP, IBM 287 (WSAD), IBM 484 (
J2EE 1.3 Connectivity), IBM 486 (UML).
If you only pass IBM 486, you will NOT receive any certificates.
Are there any other certification exams on UML and which one is the best recognized ?
OMG Certificates focus on UML 2.0 specification. It focus on specification instead of application usage.
This type of questions have been discussed a lot in the past, you can do a simple search for that to get more info.
