As I read here that IBM don't give cirtificate for 486 . I think then there is no use to go for this cirtificate . Because cirtificate is the only document that we can't copy ( because it has IBM hologram or something like this , that can't be duplicated ) otherwise it is very easy to make a copy of answer sheet with our name ...

What you all guys & gals think ...

Thanks .

There is one more thing that cannot be copied - the knowledge that we gain by taking the certification and consequently our better performance at work place

I personally don't think the certificate matters as long as you have the knowledge and some proof that u have the formal certification (marks sheet).

I agree with Jayadev.

In addition, IBM does NOT provide any special "chops" or trademark on the certification. It is just the same copy as is the e-certification. So, you can easily edit the PDF with other's name, and print it out as his certificate.

Moreover, if you got the real knowledge and passed the exams, why bother on the certificate?

No but peoples pay for cirtification so they should get something unique so others can't copy ...

If knowledge is the only thing that matters then why should we all are taking cirtificate , we should just prepare for cirtificate ...

There is nothing to be unique for studying matter.

So, what is the meaning for getting the certificate without knowledge?

Certificates/Examiniations are only means for proving that you reach certain level, however, it does not mean you can master the knowledge.

I'd appreciate it if you pronounced my name correctly. Pinhead, with a silent "H". Petite ad:
