Howdy !

A new Quiz (50 questions) was uploaded for those who prepares for
IBM 000-486 Test.

The "Quiz 1" covers mostly UML objectives.

1. The MagnetMocker test engine download (unzip before running)

http://java.boot.by/magnet-mocker/download/engine.html

2. The IBM 000-486 Quiz 1 download (unzip before running)

http://java.boot.by/magnet-mocker/download/exams.html

Oh... Forgot to add.. It is absolutely free Enjoy

Feedbacks and bug-reports are very welcome !

regards,
MZ

NOTE:
- If you have Sun JRE 5.0 or IBM JRE 1.4.0 or later - you're fine.
- If you jave Sun JRE 1.4.0 - you need Xerces2 for XML parsing.

Hi Nicholas !

The Tiger Guide actually was published during beta period.
It is still not complete and won't be completed
Moreover, it was updated mostly *after* I took beta - after I learnt what topics are needed to know.

For SCJA - maybe I will prepare *something* - you see the objectives are quite easy

MZ

But you dont put it down in your signature. I just knew that when I try to play IBM 486 test.

That's great. Let's celebrate together after passing it.

Do let me know when it is ready this time.

By the way, will you go for SCJA?

Howdy !

The key word is :java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.xerces.parsers.SAXParser

- your classpath is not properly configured.

options:
  • configure classpath
  • install Sun Microsystems JRE 1.5.0 (5.0)
  • install IBM JRE 1.4.0

Put xerces.jar in C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_01\lib\ext folder and run the application using the following command
    java -Dorg.xml.sax.driver=org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser -jar mm-1.0.jar
