The ILT materials provided by the Oracle Univesity

any free resources on net (tutorails, site & mocks)

There are less resources for Oracle exams, you might try to see whether there are any yahoo groups for 1Z1-007.

Practice Questions

Whizlabs' exam simulator.

For your information, this test 1z0-007 can be taken at home through internet connection.

Hi!

I'm also planning to take the OCA Exam.

But now, for the 10g Oracle version, there is the Oracle Database 10g OCA Exam (1Z0-042). One exam, 75 questions, 65%, and you get Certified.

Then there is another exam for the OCP level.

Nick, you have the OCP 10g. What do you think about it?

Regards,

As you can expect, OCP 10g DBA is composed of 2 exams only (compared to OCP 9i DBA, there are 4 exams), that the topics covered will be less, and the questions will be required to have deeper knowledge.

For OCA 10g DBA, its objectives covered ALL 4 exams in OCP 9i DBA, and thus, you need to know all things in 1 exam. For OCP 10g DBA, you need to know the advanced topics together with new features, like the Web-based performance tuning tools & graphs, and you need to know how to interpret them.

I would say, OCA 10g DBA is much more difficult than OCA 9i DBA, as well as the OCP.

That's interesting.

Nevertheless, I'd rather pay half the price and study more for the last release of Oracle's certification (i.e. 10g) than going for the 9i version.

Thanks for the info.
