Hi Guys,
I cleared IBM-484 exam today,
Some of the resources I used:
* http://www.corej2eepatterns.com/index.htm
* HFSJ (Head first servlets and JSPs)
* Revised EJB Spec.
* JMS
* Sun tutorial
http://java.sun.com/products/jms/tutorial/1_3_1-fcs/doc/jms_tutorialTOC.html
* Professional JMS (only few chapters describing concepts)
* JCA (Sun online tutorial).
http://java.sun.com/j2ee/tutorial/1_3-fcs/doc/Connector5.html
Tried Sun JCA spec, but was boring.
* Packaging and deployment (Sample chapter from Wrox book - hope it is Professional Java server programming)

I am planning to take up 287 this month,
Let me know if there are any online resources for Section 7 of 287 (Validate tune and troubleshoot an application within WebSphere environment).

Hi,

For Section 7 you'd need Kushner, because he has a couple of
chapters in the second half of his book that focus on this
specific objective.

But where I found a great source of information is IBM's
developerWorks site. It has enough articles in a tutorial
fashion that show you the ins an outs of validation, tuning,
and troubleshooting. The articles are not always aimed solely
on the aforementioned issues, but they can also be case
studies that include them as an integral part.

Check for Barcia's articles, a senior developer at IBM.

Cheers,

Gian

Hi Nallazhagappan,

Congrats for the achievement.
Where can we get free mocks exams related to test 484. Also how far Head First EJB helped in the preparations.

Are there any Sample questions availble?

Appriciate if anyone can share test questions or Links.
