Hi,

I have completed the WebSphere Sys. Admin certification (Test 340) today with 66%. The questions were very straight. If you need any help, do let me know.

Congratulations Chandra

Harsha:

The main resource is the rebook WAS5.0 Admin guide. Pls remember that this exam targets WAS5.0 and not 5.1.

Hi,

Go through the PDFs at this url - http://www-306.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/was/library/library5.html for both Base and ND Versions.

And then, look at all the options in the Admin Console. This is more than enough. You can easily get 100%.

Let me know if you need any information.

Helo Chandra,

First of all, Congrats !!

I am preparing for WAS admin, and I already went through the link
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/was/library/library5.html

There are good number of PDFs under 'WebSphere Application Server - distributed platforms' itself, and its not exam focussed - as you know.

Do you think any good material which would give a grip at the initial stage and then we can dig into big redbooks ? Anyother useful inputs ?

TIA
Ravi
