Good news is OCP developers will no need to upgrade certification status. But the bad news is there will be no OCP 10g (developer track). :roll:

Oracle PL/SQL and Forms Developer Certification Paths
Effective June 1, 2005 Oracle University is making changes to its Application Developer certification tracks. The Oracle9i PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (OCA) and the Oracle9i Forms Developer Certified Professional (OCP) will be modified to become:
Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (OCA)
Oracle Forms Developer Certified Professional (OCP)
Additionally, the names of some exams will also change (see table below). Exam Number Old Exam Name (New Exam Name)
Exam #1Z0-147 Oracle9i: Program with PL/SQL (Program with PL/SQL)
Exam #1Z0-140 Oracle9i Forms Developer: New Features (Oracle Forms Developer: New Features)
Exam #1Z0-141 Oracle9i Forms Developer: Build Internet Applications (Oracle Forms Developer: Build Internet Applications)
If you are in the process of becoming certified, any of the Oracle9i exams that you have passed in the track will count towards your certification in the new certification track.
