can some one guide me is this the starting certification that oracle offers for OCP developers? and can some one guide me any study materials for this,

Thanks,

If you are going to take OCA 9i DBA, yes, you can start with 1z0-007. You can use ILT materials provided by Oracle University, or use the Sybex book
OCA/OCP: Introduction to Oracle9i SQL Study Guide. In order to get OCA 9i DBA, you have to complete 1z0-031 Fundamental I as well. You can use the book OCA/OCP: Oracle9i DBA Fundamentals I Study Guide.

However, if you are going to take OCA 10g DBA, you only have to take 1 exam: 1z0-042 Oracle 10g Administration I. You can use ITL materials, or the Sybex book OCA: Oracle 10g Administration I Study Guide (1Z0-042).

Good luck.

Nick
